Health Education

An important part of keeping a community healthy is through education. We contribute to public health education by producing printed informational materials to disperse to the local community. We also conduct outreach visits in local schools, providing medical check-ups and health education to the children.

Additionally, we have an expanding homecare program to provide checkups and education to patients who need homecare or who can’t afford to visit the hospital on a regular basis.

When our staff conducts homecare visits, they are providing both medical treatment and social support. Our most recent home care has been to support the development and parenting of a baby who had been severely stunted from malnutrition. Thanks to the care provided by our compassionate team, the baby has made considerable progress.

Additionally, our staff helps the family of patients identify income generating activities. We intend to further strengthen our home care activities if we can obtain further donations for this area.
