2013 – Emergency Department opened Two Inpatient Department Wards opened introducing 24 hour care
2014 – The Maternity Building opened for expectant mother
2015 – Surgical Department opened Neonatal Intensive Care Unit operational
2016 – Official opening of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Centralized Medical Gas System installed Blood Bank opened
2017 – Be Smart Learning Center opened for children of SKMH employees Promotion of four Cambodian internship graduates to Department Chiefs or Deputy Chiefs
2018 – Sustainability – 100 % of Operating Costs covered by patient revenue
2019 – The SKMH Board of Directors and the senior management team opened a new Private Ward for Maternity with 7 private rooms . A ribbon cutting ceremony by Dr. Wilfried Kill, founder of the hospital, Dr Yos Phanita, Director of the Sonja Kill Foundation Cambodia and the board of directors along with our staff celebrated this monumental occasion.
