BLOOD BANK

In August 2016 we opened our own bloodbank. SKMH can now provide fresh whole blood, whole blood, red pack cells and fresh frozen plasma to patients. Additionally, for long-term sustainability, the blood bank is integrated in the national strategic plan as a non-profit blood transfusion center.

BLOOD DONATIONS

We recently had a regional blood drive with our partner Kampot Referral Hospital. We are always looking for people to donate. So….. do you have two hours and 350ml of blood to spare? If so, please come to SKMH. It is best if you call the laboratory before coming….. Call 077666752 to arrange a time. In return you will receive a general health check-up, including blood count and infectious virus screening; a cold drink and a snack, and the wonderful feeling of knowing that you may have helped save a life.
