In Nov 2014 we opened our new maternity ward and have assisted in the birth over 700 healthy babies. We are fortunate to have a great team of midwives, nurses and doctors who provide a safe environment and a high standard of care to Cambodian women giving birth and their babies.
Our services are critical to improving health outcomes in Cambodia. We provide free and low cost quality healthcare to the most disadvantaged Cambodian people, particularly women and children.
We consistently provide free and affordable quality healthcare to some of the poorest people in the world. Our efforts need your help.
We have a new surgical department which enables us to treat patients who need immediate care for surgical conditions. We will be looking for surgical specialists to expand our range of services.
We have just opened our very own blood bank! This is important to support our maternity and surgical department. The need for blood donations is now more important than ever! Contact us if you would like to get involved…
Donate Blood ⇢
You can support our work financially, by fundraising, sending us supplies and equipment and even donating blood! Although we work towards being sustainable via our fee system, we also need and appreciate outside support to treat the very poor free of charge. If you are interested in volunteering, please see the 'work with us' tab.
We strive to improve the lives and health situation of Cambodians. Building healthy and empowered communities is vital. Sustainability is very important to us and we work towards this goal by providing health outreach and education in schools and communities, as well as home care to those who are too poor to travel to the hospital. Additionally, we provide expert training to our young Cambodian doctors, who will go on to become the next generation of healthcare leaders.
We are further developing the hospital and have a range of voluntary positions available. If you are interested in sharing your time and skills to serve the poor in Cambodia, then contact us! We also welcome interested visitors who would like tour the hospital and find out more about what we do.

Physiotherapy is a lesser known health field in Cambodia. Many patients wait until their situation is severe, first visiting a traditional healer, or getting injections. These are ineffective and costly in the long term. Physiotherapy is beneficial for children with developmental delays, as it helps them to achieve better functioning. The physiotherapist treats patients sustainably with both exercises and education.
Some of the more common problems our physiotherapists see include stroke, joint pain and lower back pain. We currently have experienced, friendly Cambodian physiotherapists working with patients. Monday's we have a specialist from Switzerland providing medical massages.
Physiotherapy is vital in treating patients who have had strokes. Providing exercises and techniques is integral in helping a patient to regain functioning. Our physiotherapists educate both patients and family of patients on exercise, mobility and wound management. This type of treatment is also beneficial and necessary for patients who suffer from sciatica, joint pain, lower back pain and pain caused by former injuries.
Attending physiotherapy sessions can help a patient to manage or overcome long term and short term pain.
